Beachcomber of Manasota Key takes great pride in the care and cleaning of our retreats and bungalows!  Keeping this in mind, a vacation rental experience is not the same as a hotel stay.  All of our retreats and bungalows are unique...with large living areas indoors and outdoors that take more time to clean.  We need to be able to provide housekeeping with enough time to prepare your retreat or bungalow to the highest of standards.  Please understand when a guest leaves at 10 a.m., we only have 6 hours until the next guest arrives at 4 p.m. to clean the entire space which includes washing all of the linens and towels, thoroughly dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.  Time is also spent restocking and adding the 'Beachcomber Touch' to each retreat or bungalow before the next guest arrives.  It takes a team of people and extremely tight scheduling to ensure that the highest of standards and cleanliness are maintained.  Unlike a hotel, our next arriving guests have bookings for a specific retreat or bungalow.  Unfortunately, this means we cannot just move an arriving guest to a retreat or bungalow that is clean and ready.

What if you want to arrive earlier or leave later than a 2 hour window?

We are happy to block off another night for your reservation based on availability.

 A charge for the nightly room rental and tax will be incurred but no other additional fees will apply.
