Tropical Treehouse is a fully furnished two bedroom, two bath UPSTAIRS bungalow which is part of a "5-Plex" property. This bungalow has a fully equipped kitchen with counter top dining for 6, living area with lots of natural light and a pull out couch, a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and king size bed, guest room with a king size bed, and another bathroom.
Your front door opens onto a balcony that runs the length of the bungalow with outdoor seating...perfect for eating, reading a book, or taking an afternoon nap surrounded by tropical landscaping and warm breezes.

"This Is An Actual 5 Star Property
I hate the rating system on VRBO because of properties like this. This property is in the highest tier. Top 2% of the properties I have stayed at. Clean, easy access, parking, amenities, furnishings - sure all that. But it's the intangibles that set this property apart. A welcome basket, a spice rack, drinks in the fridge, shampoo in the shower both inside and out, nice towels, beach toys, the list goes on. I know none of these things seem like a big deal but it's all of these and more that show a level of care by the owner to provide a great experience. If we come back to Manasota Key, I won't be looking at other options - I am booking this place again."

"Hidden Gem
I have to admit, while we were looking for a place to stay, I was a little skeptical. All of the ratings were 5 stars. I honestly thought they were padded from friends or relatives. Now I know why! From the moment we opened the door we were blown away. The place was spotless. My wife immediately fell in love with the cabin. There was a little welcome basket on the table with snacks, can coozies and a few other handy items. After checking out all the rooms and bringing our luggage in, I opened the fridge and there was cold water, soda, beer and even a bottle of wine! Absolutely perfect after a long day of traveling! Nice touch! Carol even texted the next day to make sure everything was ok. Her attention to detail is second to none. Seemed to think of everything from bikes, beach carts, umbrellas and a ton of other things we didn’t have time to use. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Will definitely be back for longer next time!"

"Best Hosts on the Gulf Coast!
We’ve visited Manasota Key countless times in the past, but this is the first time we found a place to stay that feels just like home. Carol and Pete were warm & friendly, not to mention incredibly helpful. Be sure to stop by the Beachcomber for an amazing cup of coffee & breakfast to start your day! The beaches are pristine and the shoreline is littered with beautiful shells and shark teeth. Thanks for everything, we can’t wait to come back!!"

"A Perfect Stay
Our stay at Beachcomber Bungalows of Manasota Key was wonderful. The 6-night stay, Apr. 22 - Apr. 28, 2024, could not have been better in the Bungalow named Gulfside Getaway. The unit was spotless with all the inside amenities we needed plus the unexpected welcome basket of added items, was over the top. What makes this facility unique is the exceptional landscaping that makes this feel like a tropical resort, with private out of doors seating areas and its location only a short block from the beach. Special items supplied for guests include bicycles, paddle board, kayaks, and gas grills for each unit. The owners could not be more accommodating."

"Paradise At The Beach
This was a picture perfect vacation - after years of searching for the right paradise to return to annually we finally found it! Cozy and quiet - with lush landscaped grounds, every detail has been considered. The property is immaculate, organized, well stocked, comfortable and oh so close to the beach! Bikes, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, beach carts, beach towels and everything you need for a day at the ocean. Seriously, just bring flip flops and bathing suit and some sunscreen - and the rest is on site, waiting for you! Carol is a responsive and helpful host. We had a problem with one of the TV remotes and she replaced it in a flash. She helped us with local recommendations, especially the local free Stumpy shuttle to restaurants and more - a must! The welcome book and appliance guide were an event planner's (me) dream come true. The beachcomber's new restaurant on the bay was delightful for breakfast and lunch. The trading post had plenty of fun beach items too. Groceries were a breeze just over the bridge, easy to fill out the fridge. Oh - and - Don't miss the locals celebrating sundown with the sounding of the conch shells! We will be back - again and again - can't wait!"

"Relaxing Weekender
Manasota Key is one of our favorite home away from home places to visit and relax! This was our first stay at this property and we were very impressed! The attention to details and the welcoming atmosphere was top notch! Comfortable, cozy and quiet and just a few minutes walk to the beach. Loved the bikes and enjoyed cooking outside on the grill. "Wonderful Spot!
This property was in a great location: it was super close to the beach and close enough to bike or walk to restaurants, but not too close to the "downtown" area so that it was still really quiet and peaceful at night. We could hear the waves from the porch! The accommodations were immaculate - super clean and organized with absolutely everything you might need. Carol was a wonderful and gracious host, and we were so happy that our dog Cody was welcome too. We've already recommended this location to our family and friends and hope to be able to come back sometime soon ourselves! Thank you!"

"Bay Breeze At Beachcomber
Very sweet, CLEAN and comfortable place. Only a 3 min walk to beautiful beach. An extra perk was having a basket of snacks and drinks in fridge - nice having if you've traveled all day. Plenty of towels, hairdryer, chairs to take to beach are provided. Highly recommend."

"Manasota Key - From Its Best!
The four of us stayed 4 nights in the Tropical Treehouse with an overview. We liked it very much, a well-kept complex and apartment. Everything was available for cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. In just 2 minutes on the beach and in the warm water with wonderful sunsets and walks on the beach up to the park. Shells, shark teeth all found in abundance. The equipment for visiting the beach is also excellent, beach wagons, umbrellas, chairs, beach towels, sieves... everything is available in sufficient quantity. Parking right in front of the door and 7 minutes to drive to the nearest supermarket. We also used the washing machine (free of charge)."

"Quiet, Relaxing Beach Stay
Very smooth process with Carol booking and getting into the unit. The area and location of the unit is excellent. There is very little thru traffic, and it's a 2 minute walk to the beach and 5-10 minutes to a beautiful walk in the mangroves along the inlet. Upon arrival there was water, soda, beer and some snacks which was a nice touch. The unit is private with a nice patio to sit outside. Great outdoor shower. Access to kayaks and paddle boards around the corner was nice. Overall, the stay was exactly what we were looking for and if I am back in the area will definitely consider rebooking."

"One of Our Best Vacations
My husband and I just had the most wonderful vacation at the Beachcomber in Manasota Key. Our cottage, Periwinkle Place, was perfect…the pre-arrival instructions were very well done and helpful, the cottage was decorated with the perfect beach motif, a welcoming basket full of goodies added to feeling most welcome. It’s truly a 3 minute walk to the beautiful beach. Beach carriers, chairs and umbrellas are provided. Wonderful restaurants are within a short drive…5-10 minutes. Put Magnolia’s on the Bay on your “must go” list! We’ll definitely return to Periwinkle Place! 5 stars!"

"Beachcomber Bungalows - Better Than The Photos!
Our arrival was easy. We had a long drive and arrived late. We opened the door and - WOW! We were amazed! There was a basket of snacks on the counter and cold beverages in the fridge. Carol has furnished the place with all you could ever need on vacation, including beach chairs, bicycles, and beach towels. This is literally steps away from 3 beach access points. All of the furnishings are top quality and the place is sparkling clean. We will be back!"

"Spring Break Getaway
This place is seriously a Hidden Gem! The grounds of this bungalow are gorgeous and so well maintained. It is very close to the beach. Everyone we met was so kind and friendly. It was a nice relaxing few days. We combed the beach for shark teeth and shells daily. We took several bike rides. We rode down to Stump Pass and explored it one day. Watched dolphins play in the bay. We even kayaked around the bay another day. The bungalow is so clean and has so many amenities that I never expected. Such a wonderful place. We hope to go back someday."
