"Wonderful Stay!!

This was such a wonderful stay for my family and small dog. We had such a great time, paddle boarding, kayaking, shell collecting. Carol and Pete have thought of everything to make your stay wonderful. Pack a small bag and off you go, the unit is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Great location, about 2 minute walk to private beach, and 4 minute walk to Stump Pass park. The unit was super clean and very comfortable, possibly one of your best stops since using VRBO. We will visit again."

"It’s Been 3 Weeks And I’m STILL Talking About It

This has got to be one of the BEST places we’ve stayed. Immediately felt at home and the little touches made a huge difference. The additional things that come with the location make this a fantastic stay. Our daughters took out the kayak and had a close experience with lots of dolphins. They will always remember the experience. The bikes were used every morning and we stopped by their restaurant to enjoy b’fast and lunch 3 days of our trip. The beach was not far and we found many teeth. Such a fantastic trip. I will be booking again."

"Cozy Place To Stay

And Amenities

Stayed in seagull landing 1080 gulf drive, great location at end of island one block off beach, very close to state park. Having the bikes, beach gear, and kayaks to use was a nice perk. Best part about property is that the owners take extra care to make sure all is well with your stay. Glad to know about this place and all the others that are part of Beachcomber of Manasota Key. Would like to return and stay in one on the beach in the future!"

"Great Getaway For Small Family

This place had everything for my kids and their friends to hang out and play. Paddle board, kayaks, boogie boards, but their favorite was the bikes I think. In between beach and bay! Sunrises were amazing. Sunsets beautiful. Nature walks bike lanes and lots of sun! Such great hosts with snacks and drinks waiting! Beautiful beachy place. It is small but we stayed outside most of the time and the accommodations were so cute! We will definitely be back next year! Peaceful part of the key."

"Wonderful Vacation Spot!

Wonderful vacation spot! We visited with two adults and two teenage girls, and the size was perfect for us. The girls loved the snack basket on arrival and we enjoyed the drinks. The house was outfitted with almost every item you could need. We drove a distance so it was nice that there were so many things we didn't have to pack. From kitchen items, spices, board games, sand toys, kayaks and so much more! The whole place was very neat and clean, updated and comfortable. The beach was a very short walk, the bay was up the street to launch kayaks, we saw dolphins several times very close, we saw baby turtles leaving their nest in the state park. The girls found a jar of shark teeth, and tons of shells! Very great place to stay."

"Wonderful Stay!

We spent six days at the Pelican Perch and it was an outstanding stay. Every amenity we could have needed was provided: kayaks, life vests, bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, paddle boards, kayak wheels, great kitchen amenities. The property was perfectly situated next to Stump Pass State Park where we did all of our beach outings and kayaking, and it was just a 3 minute walk from the property. In the evenings we rode bikes to the Sand Bar for dinner or cooked at home. I can't recommend this enough for a relaxing beach vacation. Our kids loved it too--especially the dolphins as we kayaked and the manatees in the gulf that we swam right up to! Many shark teeth and shells were collected. And many great memories were created!"

"Repeat Stay!

We were here for a long weekend earlier in the summer and loved it so much that we had to return and everything was just as lovely as the first visit! No detail is overlooked and the property is wonderful, just steps away from the beach, clean, and loaded with amenities to make you feel at home. "Paradise

We had a wonderful stay at Pelican Perch. The place was exactly as listed. The owners have thought of everything you will need to have the perfect vacation - well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, coolers and toys. They even left us a welcome basket and drinks in the refrigerator. We enjoyed sitting on our porch and in the beautiful courtyard. The walk to the beach was short. I highly recommend this place!"

"What A Wonderful Experience!!!!

Carol was in contact with me before and after we arrived. She gave recommendations and what to expect. When we arrived there was a welcome basket and a book of recommendations. The condo was well stocked with equipment (bikes, kayaks, chairs and even an umbrella) and kitchen supplies. Stump pass beach was a 5 minute walk away. There are outside showers to wash off when you get back. Cannot recommend Carol enough 😊."

"Little Slice Of Paradise

We had a wonderful vacation in Manasota Key, largely because of the conveniences of Pelican Perch.  We have active sons who enjoyed the bikes, kayaks and SUPs.  Having those items at our disposal was perfect. Also, the owners have thought of everything you might need during your stay at the beach and had it available in the condo or laundry room.  Beach chairs, umbrellas, carts, swim masks…even bug spray and aloe vera gel!  The kitchen had the proper tools to prepare meals.  Everything we wanted to do was within a short walking distance or ride with Stumpy’s. Never crowded or touristy, even as the 4th of July approached. Will recommend to all of our friends and family."

"Wonderful Stay!

We stayed in the Osprey Retreat, and it was wonderful!
The rental was spotless and came with all of the amenities you could ever ask for on a beach retreat. Of all the rentals where our family has stayed, this one was top notch. Pete and Carol are excellent to work with and truly care about the vacationers that call their retreat home while staying on beautiful Manasota Key, and the goody basket is a nice surprise.This cozy nook is steps from the beach, and Pete and Carol make sure renters are provided with information on great places to eat and things to be sure to check out while visiting.We also enjoyed a fantastic lunch (and DOLE WHIP!!!) at the Beachcomber Trading Post.  When we come back, we will be staying at the Beachcomber. It is a little slice of heaven."

"Cozy Casita

Bright, clean, well-appointed casita with all the toys you need for the beach. Walking distance to Stump Pass Park, bay and gulf beaches. Fridge and kitchen were stocked with some drinks and treats when we got there, which kept us happy until we could get to the store. Bikes could use a once over, but we managed them all the way to the north end (15 miles round trip). Property manager is attentive. Great place to bring a family!"

"Great Property That Exceeded Our Expectations!

Our family of 4 booked the property for an impromptu Labor Day getaway. We were very impressed with the attention to detail and thoughtful extras. The property was clean and just a short walk to the beach. The beach was perfect-We did lots of shell hunting and swam for hours in the clear water. Above and beyond expectations! We booked as a last minute getaway for my son's 10th birthday because he wanted a beach weekend. First time booking through VRBO and wow! The attention to detail every step of the way was impressive and truly, if you forgot it, it was already there. "Serenity

The feeling when we pulled up was, this feels comfy. Going inside we were impressed by the cleanliness and loved the beach decor. It was a short and shady walk to the beach. My friend and I took her mother with us and we all loved the peaceful stay. We were on our first shark tooth hunting adventure. Sure enough in one day we found over a 100 between 2 of us! There is a "toy box" that had almost anything you could want for a day on the beach. I used the sturdy sand sifter all day to hunt for teeth. Also, there is an excess of shells that wash up daily. Really an interesting beach to explore and happy place to stay! There are a few restaurant/bars a few blocks away and we were not disappointed. A great time was had by all!"
