Local Events and Festivals

With so many nearby towns and cities, there are a number of festivals and events that happen throughout the year.

Siesta Key Crystal Classic

During the middle of November, international sand sculptors gather at Siesta Key Beach (about 30 miles north of Manasota Key) to create beautiful sand statues and works of art.  Sign up for one of the on-site classes and you can also try making your own art piece!

Englewood Beach Waterfest

Taking place at the end of November, this festival features numerous activities such as powerboat races, marine wildlife encounters and products from many vendors.

Hosted at the Englewood Public Beach.

Englewood Fine Arts Festival

In late March, the entirety of West Dearborn Street will be closed off so pedestrians can explore this newly revived town as it transforms into a pedestrian-only artist's village.  Shoppers will enjoy strolling through the artists' booths, visiting the unique shops, and dining at the many new restaurants

in this charming town.

Englewood Seafood & Music Festival

In late January, held at Englewood Plaza, the Englewood Seafood & Music Festival brings a variety of seafood vendors and artists to perform for locals and tourists around town.  There will be music, delicious food, and creative arts, crafts, and specialty products in a marketplace setting.
