Manasota Beach

Located on the north end of Manasota Key, Manasota Beach offers lots of beach and recreation area with 14 acres and almost 1,400 feet of beachfront.  This beach is a favorite of many visitors and locals, offering views of the the Gulf of Mexico that are expansive, scenic and gorgeous. This beach will also provide many opportunities for shelling and shark tooth hunting.   

The Beach

With 1,400 feet of shoreline, there is plenty of walking space for visitors to stroll the beach and look for shells and sharks teeth.  Or just find a space to set up your chairs and relax in the warm Florida sunshine.  Manasota Beach faces west to the Gulf of Mexico, so you'll have the opportunity to see some of the most amazing and beautiful sunsets.

Wildlife

Many types of birds come to the shores of Manasota Beach, ranging from wading sandpipers to larger pelicans and herons. Visitors often see dolphins and manatees swimming along the coast.  Additionally, many species of coastal fish are abundant in the area.

Facilities

Manasota Beach offers a lot of convenient facilities for visitors to use during their time at the beach.  There is a large, free parking area available. Other amenities include shelters with picnic tables and grills, restroom facilities and outdoor showers.

Food & Drink

There are two options for food and drink while at the beach. Bring your own food and drinks to have a picnic at the beach and cook out on the provided grills.  Or you could venture a few miles to the south and experience one of the local beach town restaurants.
