"What A Wonderful Place To Stay! 

Everything was super clean, organized, well maintained, and well stocked - fresh smelling linens/beach towels, bug spray, first aid kit,  2 coffee machines, snacks/drinks, etc.  Every detail is taken care of.  I would 100% recommend staying here, and this is coming from a person who is very fussy and particular and borderline OCD when it comes to cleanliness. Carol should teach classes to anyone who runs rental properties.  THIS is how it should be done."

There is nothing better than walking out your slider with a beverage to watch the sunsets or take a dip in warm water of the gulf. Everything is provided by two gracious hosts including a little welcome basket! Cook in, do take out or do the restaurants, all options are there! "Quick Relaxing Trip

My husband and I just wanted to get away for a few days and relax. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice our unit was. It was extremely clean, some nice surprises (treats), and they checked in on us to make sure everything was okay. We literally opened our door and the ocean was right there. Not crowded at all and used their bikes for a daily bike ride. Would recommend to anyone!"

"2024 Spring Break

My husband and I stayed at the property and had a wonderful stay. It was clean, quiet but most of all right on the beach. We enjoyed our daily walks and soaking up the sun. The property was exactly as listed. I love that it was such a quick easy walk to Stumps Pass. Carol and Pete were excellent hosts. We walked in to a wonderful welcome basket of snacks and beverages. The condo was well stocked with everything you would need, even a first aid kit. Which I ended up needing when I cut my finger! I enjoyed the beautiful setting and quiet atmosphere of the property. It was just what this teacher needed for this break!!"

"Highly Recommend!!!

We drove up from Naples and called a few other rental companies who weren’t willing to rent for 2 nights.  We saw Carol coming out of her office and I asked her if she would.  She was SO accommodating!  She took us to look at properties to choose from.  We had a late flight so she let us check out late since she didn’t have anyone coming in.  I would highly recommend!!!"

"The Cleanest Vacation Spot I’ve Ever Stayed

I was looking for a quiet, peaceful place to rest and rejuvenate and I hit the jackpot! There is only one other resort between this condo and the state park. It’s a short peaceful walk or bike ride down to total serenity! And I was the only person within 100 yards either direction most of the week on the beach and I was there the last week in June! It was absolutely wonderful! I will be back!"

"ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!

Pristinely clean, meticulously maintained, and tastefully decorated, this little gem provides the perfect getaway place!  Location is great - just a few steps to the warm sand and lounge chairs.  The rental is quiet - no street noise or noise from other units.  The king-size bed is probably the most comfortable bed we’ve slept on away from home. Everything that you need is provided - no shopping for miscellaneous supplies like laundry detergent, hand soap, and toilet paper.  Even shampoo and body wash is provided - not tiny bottles, but enough for your stay!  The bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards were easily accessible and located within a short walk of the launching area at Stump’s Pass.  The beach chairs and umbrellas are newer and there are plenty.  Manasota Key is a lovely, quiet vacation destination and Just Beachy is a great place to stay.  We cannot think of anything that could be improved in this rental.  Well done Pete and Carol!!"

"Manasota Key Trip

This property was perfect for my wife and I. The location is right on the beach, which was a priority for us. Our plan was to relax, walk the beach, find shells and shark teeth, fish, visit the local restaurants. It was also really nice to explore Stump Pass. It was pretty windy/rough surf for part of our stay. We were able to find some nice calm areas in the bay at Stump Pass for swimming and relaxing. All in all a great trip. Our unit was very comfortable and had everything we needed!"

Right On The Ocean

My wife and I were very happy with Sandy Shores Retreat "Beachcomber" property. The location is fantastic, being right on the seawall and just feet to the ocean. The property was well maintained and very clean. Inside the paint was crisp, the bed comfortable, the décor was very nice, the A/C was Ice Cold, and everything you could possibly need was supplied for you, along with complimentary beers, wine, snacks. What an amazing place. We will be back for sure."

"Awesome Stay

The location is Perfect, I wish I could give 100 stars for this rental, it was the perfect place for our stay.  I really liked the attention that they put in to putting a nice bottle of wine in the fridge, some beers, some bottled waters, small sodas in the fridge for your arrival & the great welcome basket with snacks as well as the K- cups for coffee.  This unit was incredible, the most breathtaking views from the back door, you can hear the waves from just sitting in the Living Room & being in the kitchen area.  We loved the private beach area & we also liked the shared grill & all extra amenities too.  The property manager Carol was very communicative for everything & even reached out to ask if we were ok, I thought that was very thoughtful, She gets my vote as the Best Property Manager.  We look forward to booking this rental again many more times in the near future."

"Celebrating My 60th Birthday

This is our first time staying in this area, and we were not disappointed. The views and the private beach were amazing. I’ve never seen so many shells. My husband found shark teeth and enjoyed the adventure. Walked on the beach every day, and we have perfect weather. The AC went out on our condo and we got a hold of Carol. She put us up in another unit till it was repaired the next day. The condo had everything you could ask for and more. Snacks, coffee, creamer, drinks cold in the frig when we got there, sunscreen, laundry detergent, beach towels, you name it they thought of it. The outdoor space was lovely and would highly recommend this. We hope to return. Thank you so much for a beautiful birthday week."

"Perfect Getaway

We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary(delayed from a canceled trip in January) and our daughter and her husband were celebrating their 1st wedding anniversary! This was a fantastic place for a quiet celebration! The place is just as it's listed in the description. The cabinets are stocked with all the essential kitchen items. There were some drinks in the fridge and snacks in the welcome basket too! They are quick to answer questions if they arise. Overall, a very wonderful week at What a View! We saw several sea turtle nests and even found a few shark teeth while there!"

"Loved Being Right On The Beach!

We were looking for a place to stay that was right on the beach. This place met and exceeded our expectations. We loved being able to open up the patio doors and walk right to the beach. We walked on the beach, collected shelled, used the beach chairs to relax and hear the waves, ate lunch on the patio, and then more beach time. We also loved that we had access to bikes and kayaks which we used to explore Manasota Key. Wonderful experience overall and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a true beach vacation!"
